Ben-Hamo, Yosef


Son of Eliyahu and Massouda. He was born on May 7, 1941 in the city of Otat al-Khazr in Morocco, where he immigrated to Israel in 1956. Yosef completed his studies at the Sderot elementary school and was drafted into the IDF in May 1959, Who served in the military industry as a metalworker, and at the outbreak of the Six-Day War he served in the reserves, and on the first day of the battles, on the first day of the battle, on the outskirts of Gaza, on the 6th of Iyar 5727 (5.6.1967) He was buried in the military emergency cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
