Ben Hamo, Reuven
Ben Allegra and David. Reuven was born on 25.1.1971 at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva. He studied at the “Tze’elim” elementary school, and completed his high school studies at the Air Force Technical School in his hometown of electronics. In 1992 he was discharged from the IDF and after a short vacation he took advantage of a trip to economics at Ben Gurion University in Be’er Sheva. Despite his success in his studies, and after passing all the tests successfully, Reuven decided to leave the field because he did not find much interest in him. Reuven decided to change course and began studying at the Technological College in Be’er Sheva for a degree in computer engineering. Reuven completed his studies successfully. When he finished his studies, he began working for ECI, where he met his wife. After about a year and a half he left his job for reasons of lack of professional realization. After a while, Reuven learned of a computer job at the Be’er Sheva police station. He applied for this position and in September 1998 was accepted to the post of computer officer of the station. As part of his job, he installed the entire computer network at the station. Reuven was in charge of everything related to computers and did it exceptionally well. He worked for the police for nine years. During his service Reuven married and his twin sons were born, followed by another son. On 10.3.2007, a senior sergeant Reuven was killed in a car accident at the Duda’im Junction, where his twin children, aged two and eight months, were also injured, he was buried at the cemetery in Be’er Sheva, leaving a wife and three children .
