Ben-Haim, Ilan

Ilan, son of Rika and Zvi Son of-Haim, was born on May 8, 1967 in Be’er Sheva. At the end of July 1985, he was drafted into the IDF, and for more than a year he underwent various courses, including an officers’ course. On October 19, 1988, Ilan was killed in a battle in southern Lebanon, when he was approached by a suicide bomber. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. After his death, he was promoted to captain.
