Ben-Ezri, Ronen Pinchas


Ben Rachel and Benjamin. He was born on the 17th of Adar I 5702 (February 23, 1970) in Ashdod. He studied at the elementary and junior high schools of the Ashdod Comprehensive School. After that he completed his studies at the Ort Yemi High School in Ashdod in the Electronics track. Ronen was drafted into the IDF in July 1988 and joined the Navy, where he continued to study for another year at the Technological Reserve, and began his active service in May 1989. After completing his engineering engineering course, he was assigned to the Navy unit as a power control technician. A few months later he was assigned to serve on the Navy ship, and Ronen joined the unit and showed an interest in volunteering for a career army, and his friends say that he was charismatic and carried away. On Tuesday, November 10, 1991, Ronen fell during his service and was brought to Israel Land-rest at the military cemetery in Ashdod. Survived by his parents, two brothers – Yoram and Shlomo, and a sister – Esther. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Ronen served as a dedicated and responsible power control technician in the ‘Keshet’ missile ship, and in addition to an outstanding platoon, which was a role model for his soldiers. Ronen served in a variety of roles on the way of a soldier in the missile boats and all performed well. Ronen was a natural leader for his soldiers. Dedication and loyalty were a synonym for him. “His parents commemorated him in the Elijah the Prophet Synagogue in Ashdod.
