Ben-Ezra, Shalom (Carlos)


Son of Eliahu and Carmela. Born on 20.2.1950 in Tetouan, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1958. Shalom studied at the “Eilat” elementary school in Jaffa and since he was a member of “Hapoel” “And since he was already a good guide, he was given leadership positions in the movement and he successfully filled them in. Shalom was drafted into the IDF in early November 1967 and assigned to the Armored Corps. Even in his military service, he stood out as a guide and did his job diligently and industriously. He was a brave soldier, loved by his commanders and subordinates. On the 3rd of Adar II (March 11, 1970), a sergeant fell in the area of ​​the Suez Canal and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery.
