Ben-Dor, Eldad

Eldad, son of Ora and Meir Son of-Dor, was born on 29.6.1962 in Kibbutz Naot Mordechai, in the Hula Valley. In August 1980, Eldad joined the IDF and served in the Paratroopers Brigade, where he underwent a parachute training course, and in November 1980 his unit was transferred to the Golan Heights and the Upper Galilee. On October 11, 1981, with his unit from operational activity, a bullet was released from disarmed weapons. Eldad was hit and killed. He was 18 and a half years old when he died. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Neot Mordechai cemetery. He left behind his parents, brother and two sisters.
