Ben-David, Yaakov

Yaakov, son of Avraham and Galia Son of-David, was born on 10 February 1956 in Nes Ziona. Yaakov was a favorite of his friends and acquaintances. He was full of life and diligent, and helped his family advance their standard of living. Yaakov was drafted into the IDF in May 1974 and excelled in basic training, and after completing basic training, he took a driving course and was a water tanker driver in the Israel Air Force. On 27 Av, August 15, 1974, Yaakov fell in the line of duty. He was buried in the cemetery in Nes Ziona, having served only three months in the IDF. Survived by his parents and seven brothers and sisters. His family commemorated him by bringing a Torah scroll into a synagogue.
