Ben-Avraham, David
David, son of Cesar and Amalia son of-Avraham, was born on December 15, 1914 in Rome, the capital of Italy. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome and worked in the State Prosecutor’s Office. In 1946, he immigrated to Israel and worked as a laborer until the outbreak of the War of Independence, when he was drafted into the IDF in May 1948. He served there until 1952. In reserve duty he served in the school settlements and in 1954 moved to Kfar Monash. In 1961 he was drafted and served in the permanent army with the rank of captain. On May 30, 1967, he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Netanya.
