Ben-Arush, Nissim


Son of Yair and Simcha Malka. He was born on February 2, 1927, in Safed, Morocco, where he was educated in the “Talmud Torah,” and when he grew up, he learned the shoemaking industry on which he lived, and despite his difficult situation he supported the poor and various institutions, And he was enthusiastic about Zionism and his desire to immigrate to Israel was intense: During the War of Independence he immigrated and served in the army until he fell in battle around Dweima on April 20, 1949. He was brought to the Land of Israel, To rest in the cemetery in Rehovot.
