Ben-Ami, Eli


Son of Moshe and Sarah. Born on 26.10.1951 in Haifa, his father, Moshe, fought valiantly during the War of Independence, was seriously wounded and recognized as an IDF veteran, and attended the Sprinzak Elementary School in Kiryat Binyamin and the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa. He had always been willing to help anyone and do everything he could to relieve the distress of others, he was a sports fan and especially a karate and judo sporter, and Eli was very quiet, and although he tended to be solicitous, he was socialized and befriended He was blessed with courage and daring to do unusual things and thought he would study in the future and become a private investigator. Hand on his way despite all the difficulties. Eli was drafted into the IDF in February 1970 and was assigned to the Armored Corps. On 27.11.1972, he died and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. His commander testified that he excelled as a good soldier and stood out for his honesty and willingness to help everyone.
