Ben Abu, Moran

Daughter of Nava and Yitzchak. Born in Jerusalem on the 5th of Tammuz, July 8, 1989. In 2007 she enlisted in the IDF and asked to be a policewoman, in order to follow in the footsteps of her father who served as an officer in the Israel Police. She received a certificate of appreciation from the Israel Police. Second sergeant Moran Ben Abu fell during her service on the 17th of Tishrei, October 5, 2009. She was twenty years old. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in the cemetery of the police. She left behind her parents, brother and sister.
