Bella, Shlomo
Son of Hanna and Moshe was born in Breslau (Germany). He immigrated to Israel with his parents who settled in Haifa in 1934. In May 1948, he was appointed deputy lieutenant (in addition to his work at the port) and in the evenings he guided the Haganah in the secret unit of the Haganah to safeguard the Jewish status in the port and ensure the unloading and loading services for the needs of the Yishuv.
