Belin, Shraga-Tzvi (“Feivele”)


Son of Jeremiah and Tova He was born in the city of Ritova in Lithuania in 1930. At the age of six his family immigrated to Israel, but after two years of ineligibility he was forced to return to Lithuania and began his studies in a Hebrew primary school in his home town. After his father and mother were murdered in the Kovno ghetto before his eyes, he was sent to Dachau, where he was subjected to hard labor and beaten severely, and took part in the death march, which was taken from the concentration camp in Germany and transferred to Belgium. The “youth” in Kibbutz Ramat Hashofet, was a member of Kibbutz Yehiam and was besieged during the War of Independence Yes IDF in February 1948.
