Belili, Elijah
He was born in 1904 in Egypt, from where he immigrated to Eretz Israel and lived in Tel Aviv, where he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the Operations Company of the Engineers Corps in 1039. He served in Egypt and from there was sent to Greece to assist the Greeks in their fight against the Italians and the Germans. In the end of April 1941, the British forces, who fought in Greece, surrendered to the Germans, and many of the soldiers were captured, including Elijah, who died during his captivity.
