Bejarano, Tomas

Son of Ella and Aaron. Born in Hamburg, Germany on May 17, 1959. He immigrated to Israel in 1980. He arrived at the Kibbutz Sarid Ulpan where he studied Hebrew for six months. Tomas decided to tie his fate in Israel and try to realize an old dream – to serve as a pilot in the Israeli Air Force Tomas was drafted into the IDF in early July 1981 and was placed in an aviation course. After being dismissed from the course he was placed in the Golani Brigade and served in my administrative post. On the 18th of Adar 5742 (13.3.1982), he fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents and brother in Germany and an aunt in Israel. The commander of his unit sent a letter of condolences and condolences to his family in Germany.
