Becker, Giora

Son of Samuel and Leah. He was born on September 18, 1943 in Haifa. After completing his studies at the Geula Elementary School in Haifa, he entered the Reali School there and completed his studies there. He was a member of the United Movement and also a guide. Wrote many articles and lists and published them in Ma’ariv for Youth and Ma’aleh. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1961 and served in the Nahal Brigade. He fell on the 11th of Marcheshvan 5721 (October 21, 1961) while fulfilling his duties and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Published by “Alef” (1962) appeared a book in memory
