Becker, Dr. Meir-David

The son of Isaiah. He was born in 1913 in Galicia, Poland, where he studied medicine, and at the same time devoted himself to Zionist activity. In November 1940, he immigrated to Eretz Israel and worked as a doctor in Kibbutz Ma’aleh Hahamisha. He joined the British army in 1942 and was assigned to the Medical Corps after serving for a year in the army on October 24, 1943. He fell on 25 Tishrei, 24.10.1943. His burial place is unknown.
