Beck, Alexander-Zvi
Son of chana and Eliezer, was born on 25.11.1922 in Berlin, the capital of Germany, where he completed his elementary school and immigrated to Israel in 1937. Alexander-Zvi joined the Betar company in Rosh Pina, and he was a member of the Etzel. In the beginning of world war two, he served in the British army. After the United Nations General Assembly decided to partition the country into two states, Alexander-Zvi joined the defensive forces, took part in the takeover of the train near Pardes Hanna and the confiscation of British arms and fought on the borders of Jaffa-Tel Aviv and Holon. On the 8th of Iyar 5708 (17.5.1948) he fell in the defense of the Jews and was brought to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
