Baum, Dr. Gerhard

Son of Irma and Hugo. He was born on October 4, 1915, in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia. In August 1939 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and began working as a dermatologist at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. In 1942 he enlisted in the British Army for the medical corps. On 5 Shvat (19.1.1945) he died in a car accident. He was put to rest in the British military cemetery in Asmara.
