Baskin, Maxim
Maxim, son of Ella and Dimitri Baskin, was born in 1986 in Belarus. Maxim, at the age of eight, immigrated to Israel and was sent to Kfar Chabad. A year later, his mother immigrated to Ashdod and Maxim moved to live with her. A Maxim enlisted in the IDF in October 2006 and was assigned to the Logistics Corps, where he served as a freight driver at the Commanding Officers’ School. Sergeant Maxim Baskin fell during his service in a military road accident at the Negev junction on the 3rd of Cheshvan, 1 November 2008. He was twenty-two when he fell. He was laid to rest in the Ashdod military cemetery. Survived by his mother and brother.
