Bashkin, Pinchas (“Pini”)


Son of Shraga and Naomi. He was born on July 30, 1948 in Tel Aviv and attended the “Yehuda Maccabee” elementary school and the “Shevach” vocational high school in Tel Aviv. Pinchas played in the Hapoel Orchestra for three years, and his main hobby was playing the guitar. In addition to playing in the “Hapoel” orchestra he played in the Katsav band. He was naturally quiet, modest and loyal to his family and friends. In “Shevach” he studied the technique of regrets and frames and succeeded in everything he did. Pinchas was drafted into the IDF in July 1966 and continued to work in the army for three years, and after three years of lengthy membership, Pinchas planned to continue his studies at the Hebrew University of Haifa, (19.8.1970) fell in battle when he encountered an enemy on the Golan Heights and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind a wife.
