Daughter of Zvi and Batya. She was born on August 21, 1950 in Moshav Nordia, near Netanya. She attended the Beit Yitzhak Regional School and the Emek Hefer High School. She grew up in a loyal Zionist home, where she absorbed the rest of her spirit and absorbed the love of Israel. From her youth, she had many talents and turned out to be an exemplary educator. Sarah was a counselor in the Beitar youth movement and she was blessed with the beauty of her soul and her kindness to every person she met, and especially her love for small children. Graduation of high school. She chose to serve in the Sinai and at her request was assigned to a combat unit. Her friends in the IDF tell how much they loved her because of her kind personality. She never spoke about the conditions of service and was always cheerful and full of life. On the 3rd of Tishrei 5710 (October 3, 1969), she fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya. The commander of her unit wrote to the bereaved family: “Sara served in the unit as a company clerk and fulfilled her duties with unswerving devotion and loyalty – even during the hard hours she kept the smile on her face, her rolling laugh, She passed through her first adolescence, her little loves for everything she lived, like her, and she blessed you with a good girl like her – a true daughter of Israel – Sarah’s image will continue to accompany us on our way wherever we go and from the desolate wilderness of Sinai. We are a way of speaking to your beloved daughter. ” Articles in her memory were published in the “Shibolet” newsletter (of Moshav Nordia) in “Dov Ha-Po’elah” and in the “Northern Sharon Newsletter”.
