Barzily, Aviv


Son of Esther and Abraham, was born on 17.2.1931 in Nes Tziona and grew up in Moshav Netaim, near his parents’ farm, where he graduated from the elementary school and two grades of a high school. From the age of 13 he began to publish his notes in Ma’aleh, in which he described the nature of the country and the experiences of the youth and his dilemmas with those who abandoned the fields when he went out to take action – As a farmer from his youth, he wanted to complete his agricultural knowledge and studied for one year at the Kaduri School, where he studied for a year until the outbreak of the War of Independence.
