Ben Piroza and Aaron. He was born on 21.7.1976 in Tiberias, the city where he grew up and grew up. Shabtai began his studies at the “Tachkemoni” elementary school, continued in the “Hamad” junior high school and graduated from the “Miften” high school, carpentry. Shabtai was a quiet and friendly boy who supported his family and helped support the family. In November 1994, Shabtai enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Border Police. As a result of the removal of his medical profile, he was transferred to serve as a bodyguard in the 769 Brigade. After undergoing surgery on his leg, he was given a temporary profile, but he chose to volunteer and continue his military service. Shabtai’s commanders said he was a responsible soldier, disciplined and serious. Along with his military service, Shabtai tried to continue supporting his family. “Shabtai used to tell about his family and the support he gave her, and he successfully combined his role in the unit with his help at home.” On the 22nd of Adar 5757 (30.3.1997) Shabtai fell during his service. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. He was buried in the military cemetery in Tiberias. Shabtai left behind his parents – Pyroza and Aaron and six brothers and sisters – Sarah, Mazal, Shimon, Leah, Malka and Moshe.
