She studied languages ​​and learned a German for one year, and she was sensitive to the suffering of people, who could not bear injustice, came to help the sufferers, and protected them with all her passion: the hungry in Africa and the starving children around the world caused her personal suffering And she wanted the peace of the entire Lebanese people, and she also felt the fate of the Lebanese people, which was shedding its blood because of the misdeeds of its leaders, and it was lonely in the war for justice. Demanded the most from herself and from others, from her family and friends. Signy was more mature than her peers, so she did not find a common language with them. But whoever she knew loved her and cherished her. She loved nature and traveled a lot in Israel. She was especially fond of the Judean desert, and she even wrote about it. She was a member of the youth group of the “Hatzeva” field school. Her great love was – animals. She understood and helped them as best she could. She became a vegetarian because she could not stand the thought of being a partner in their killing. She completed her doctoral thesis in biology at Ein Gedi on the subject of “The Rocky Face.” She was alone there and made countless observations around, alone, without help and without company. During her military service, Signy was an instructor in the Gadna-Air Brigade and found her death in the Lev of the desert, far from a human being. “Segalit fell during her service on February 4, 1985, and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, where she left behind her parents and two sisters
