Bardugo, Asher


Ben Lucy and Meir. He was born on August 9, 1973 in Zur Shalom, to a family of five. Who attended elementary school at the Neve Michael boarding school in Pardes Hannah, and completed his high school studies at the “Religious Youth Village” in Kfar Hasidim, in the agricultural-theoretical program. Who was a sociable boy and loved by his friends, a sports fan and a special interest in various types of weapons. For several years he volunteered for the Civil Guard in his place of residence. In December 1991, Asher enlisted in the Border Police and spent most of his service in Judea and Samaria as a squad commander. Was a dedicated and responsible soldier, highly motivated, always willing to help and help. Even during his vacations from the army, he volunteered for the Civil Guard. About two weeks after his release from the IDF in December 1994, he enlisted in the Israel Police and served as a young NCO for soldiers he did not know. Older than him, and did so with great success. He acquired the hearts of the soldiers and commanders alike with his smile, his naivety, and his willingness to help anyone, in any situation. Ten days after the beginning of the reserve duty, on the 26 th of June 1996, Asher set out with a group of soldiers to open an axis near the youth, who was killed at close range by a terrorist squad crossing the Jordan River westward into Israel. Sergeant Ashraf Shibli and Corporal Ya’akov Turgeman. He left two parents, two brothers – Eli and Mor, two sisters – Limor and Rinda, and a friend – Tali. He was twenty-three years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Kiryat Bialik cemetery. After his fall, he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant: “We have only just begun to enjoy your company and have already been taken away from us. At the beginning of the reserve duty we sat together and had a long conversation. I was deeply impressed by the motivation and determination you demonstrated, your willingness to cope with any task, however difficult. And so you began to take up your position as a noncom in the company, a process that was cut off in the bud. “
