Barazani, David (“Dedi”)


Son of Jacob and Esther. He was born on September 21, 1946 in Jerusalem. He completed his studies at the Tachkemoni School there and was a favorite of his teachers and friends. Participated in the school orchestra. From an early age, he enlisted to help the family and became a source of encouragement for his parents and all his associates. He was pleasant and brought joy to everyone who came into contact with him. He earned a living in the “fast-paced” company in Jerusalem. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1964 and served in an armored unit, and during the Six Day War he was called up for reserve duty and joined the Paratroopers Unit, which took part in the battles in Rafah, where he fell on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967). In Bavaria and was later transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
