Barat, Shira Dana

Daughter of Tova and Rachamim. Born on the 30th of Kislev, December 4, 1975. Shira joined the Israel Police in March 1997. She moved to the movement unit in the northern region in March 2000. She served as a researcher and evaluator. Shira showed responsibility and initiative and achieved commendable achievements. Shira became ill with cancer in December 2007. She died on the 5th of Cheshvan, October 23, 2009. She was thirty four years old. She was buried in the cemetery in Safed. Shira was survived by her husband, three children, her parents, sister, and two brothers.
