Baram, Yehuda


Son of Binyamin and Hadassah. He was born on the 20th of Sivan 5705 (May 20, 1945) in Nes Tziona, where he studied in the first elementary school in his hometown and continued his studies in the vocational high school He was a devoted student and devoted much of his time, money and resources to his friends, and was an avid sports enthusiast and loved all kinds of sports. And was a member of the youth Maccabee youth movement in Nes Ziona. Judah loved literature and even wrote poetry. He loved the country and its landscapes and toured its various areas in order to expand its knowledge. He was pleasant and did everything with grace and taste. In 1968 Yehuda married Hava to the Reznik family, and they moved to Rishon Letzion. He worked first in the Ministry of Communications as an electronics and later as a buyer in the Jewish Agency. In 1975 he completed a marketing course at the Technion. When his daughter, Sarit, was born, he knew no borders. He excelled as a loving, devoted and faithful father, as a husband and as an excellent head of household. Yehuda was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in November 1964. After completing his basic training, he was sent to a unit close to his home, to be found near his father and mother, and to help them. In the Yom Kippur War he served in Sinai and after the fall of his cousin in the war, he volunteered to serve in the reserves in the Armored Corps, out of a sense of an internal need to fill his place. 3 Adar 5737 (3.3.1977) Yehuda, during an active reserve service, fell in the line of duty. Who left behind a wife, a daughter and a mother, and on the first anniversary of his downfall, his family published a pamphlet in his memory
