Barak, Eitan

Eitan, son of Michelle and Dudu Barack, was born on March 30, 1994 in Tel Aviv. On 21 November 2012, Eitan enlisted in the IDF, serving as a combat soldier in the Nahal Brigade. In June 2014, rocket fire from the Gaza Strip to Israel intensified, and as a result, Israel launched Operation Tzuk Eitan against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Eitan was killed in battle during Operation Tzuk Eitan on July 18, 2014. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Herzliya. Eitan was promoted after his fall to the rank of first sergeant.
