Bar-Sela (Hochstein), Rami (“Kishroni”)
Son of Shraga and Tova. He was born on March 23, 1936 in Jerusalem. After graduating from elementary school, he attended high school. Afterward he studied at the IAF Technical School and was one of his first graduates as a technician. Was the moving spirit in every encounter. He also had a sense of justice and was severely criticized when he found himself in violation of his principles. When he was drafted into the IDF in January 1956, he served in the Israel Air Force as part of the Nahal Brigade. On the eve of Independence Day, 5717-1917, the President of the State, Mr. Yitzhak son of-Zvi, praised him for the courage he displayed in his unit and for being one of the outstanding soldiers in that year. He did not know until he finished his work. During his years in the squadron, he passed all the stages of progress – from a regular mechanic to a technical officer. Found great satisfaction in his work as an airborne mechanic and his extensive experience in this work concentrated in writing to facilitate the absorption of young mechanics in the squadron. On the 18th of Iyar 5724 (April 29, 1964) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
