Daughter of Pnina and John. She was born on the 11th of Tevet 5737 (11.1.1977) in Jerusalem. The third daughter of a family of four. After completing the fund for four years, the family moved to Mevasseret Zion. Karen studied at the Moledet elementary school, continued at the Rene Cassan High School and graduated from the open experimental school in Lifta. A creative, talented girl and a gifted artist. Ceramic and sculptural works attested to a high artistic ability. Keren spent time as an educator and was active in the leadership of the “Yehonatan” tribe. Was a dedicated, dedicated and responsible counselor who brought a high level of educational activity with the young members of the movement. In this activity Keren continued a family tradition following her older brothers, Ofra and Hillel. Following the three of them, the younger sister, Adi, joined the movement. Karen was a beloved girl, always active, surrounded by friends and friends. Her personality, opinions, and ideas radiated over those around her. She completed the tests at the recruitment center with high data and planned to continue her training and move on to an officer’s course. In the middle of August 1995, Keren was recruited for compulsory military service in the Israel Defense Forces and embarked on basic training at the 12th Training Base. On Monday, 28.8.1995 Keren was killed while she was at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. She was survived by her parents, a brother and two sisters, and a collection of sculptures that she created during her youth was preserved in the forest near the city of Jerusalem (near Netaf). It is planting in her memory. At the dedication ceremony for the forest, her aunt Anat Wollenberger said in her memory: “… we planted trees longing and prayed for their growth like the rain to a tree … and from time to time we would come here, sit a little among the trees, look far and look deeply and see her dancing and laughing … She will come back whenever we return. “
