Yehuda was a member of the Bnei Akiva Bnei Akiva branch, underwent a paramedics course and volunteered at the local MDA station. During his high school years, Yehuda was part of a volunteer project in which he guided teenagers and mentally ill adults who lived in Kfar Nachman in Ra’anana. After graduating from high school, Yehuda sought a place that would combine Torah study with military service. Already as a boy, he was very interested in matters of faith, history and philosophical issues, and wanted to continue studying in a place where his spiritual and religious nature would suit him. He found what he wanted in the Otniel hesder yeshiva, which he joined. Learning was a central and important part of Yehuda’s life. The need and curiosity to learn, to understand, to learn and to know were inherent in his personality. In studying Gemara, Yehuda sought a simple and real structure of the issue. He tried and worked hard to make the issue clear and clear, edited tables, defined definitions, and aspired to a basic definition of what was said, which is the key to understanding what is said. Yehuda’s curiosity and learning ability radiated on his surroundings, his family and his friends. His knowledge of a variety of fields surprised even those closest to him, and served as an example to his brothers and sisters. Yehuda had many hobbies, including the computer world, collecting stamps and reading books from a variety of fields. In June 2002, Yehuda enlisted in the IDF and returned to study in Otniel during the hesder yeshiva On the night of Shabbat, 27 December 2002, Yehudah fell in the Battle of Otniel, and together with three of his friends, The main dish was thrown into the kitchen by two terrorists and opened fire, and the four yeshiva students who were in the kitchen were killed on the spot, while Staff Sergeant Noam Apter was killed and students Zvika Ziman and Gabriel Hoter were killed. The four students managed to close the door to the dining hall, saving the lives of the boys in the hall. The terrorists were killed by soldiers after a brief battle. Yehuda was twenty years old when he fell. After his death, he was promoted to Corporal, who was buried in the military section of the cemetery in Karnei Shomron, and was survived by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
