Son of Anna-Nurit and Pesach, was born on December 17, 1960 in Jerusalem. Rani was born in Jerusalem, but grew up in the town of Beit Shemesh. In this town, Rani began his studies at Eshkol Elementary School, and later at the Shiber High School. At the school, Rani was a mediocre student, and after appropriate tests it was decided that he should learn a trade and not pursue theoretical studies. Rani chose to study at the technical school in Haifa. He wanted very much to study electronics, but was accepted into an electrical trend. When he was in Bet Shemesh, Rani was a member of the Scouts movement and practiced with the Hapoel soccer team in Beit Shemesh. He had many friends, and he was loved by everyone. When he reached the IDF, Danny was stationed in the IAF and served as an armament in the first phantom squadron established by the IAF, and Rani was very proud of his position and soon became a team leader, To help him work in the farm, and at the end of 1979 he was diagnosed with an increase in his body, and Rani began to undergo a series of treatments, and his sister Talila, who serves as a nurse at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, On Thursday, June 19, 1980, Rani fell in his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Rehovot. He left behind his parents, brother and sister.
