Bainsan, Kashun (Denny)

Kashun (Denny) son of Molo and Bainsan Bainsan, was born in 1975 in Ethiopia. The family immigrated to Israel in 1989. On 1 November 1993, he joined the IDF, served in the Northern Infantry Division, and after completing compulsory service continued to serve in the unit. During Operation Tzuk Eitan, Denny was killed while participating in a battle with the terrorist squad. Kashun was thirty-nine when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Netivot cemetery. Survived by his wife, a son and three daughters, a mother, four brothers and a sister.
