Bachar, Yehuda-Nissim


Son of Yosef and Rivka. He was born on the 20th of Adar 5703 (February 20, 1943) in Istanbul, Turkey, and when he was eleven years old he immigrated with his family to Eretz Israel. The difficulties of absorption, climate change, and the frequent transitions from one place to another have adversely affected it. Thus Judah studied in a school in the Hatikvah neighborhood and at the “Ramaz” in Beit Dagan. After the family became rooted in Israel came a change in his health and the weak child developed into a strong man. Yehuda was active in sports and was a member of a sports team of Betar and of Hapoel Beit Dagan, and after completing his studies began working for a building contractor to help support the family and even moved to Eilat where he worked for Solel Boneh. In November 1960 he volunteered to serve in infantry. His excellent ability and his previous work in sports made his service easier. Yehuda completed his military training course at the “Marcus Camp” in Haifa, where he completed his military training course, and completed a course for soccer judges before completing his military service. And was born to be a son, Yehuda was a gold hearted, devoted to the family and exceptionally fit and fit, and was called for periods of reserve service and would do his duty without complaint and even served in the Six Day War, And was proud that he had been given the opportunity to serve on the first line: On Thursday, 22.5.1969, Sergeant Yehuda fell in the line of duty. He left a wife and a child. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul
