Bachar, Bezalel

Son of Issachar and Mazal. He was born on May 10, 1934, in Iderna, Turkey, where he completed four years of study. He immigrated to Israel as part of Youth Aliyah in 1949 and studied at son of Shemen. Until his enlistment in the IDF, he was on Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael, where he worked to help his family, and he sought to advance in life and reach a status that could help his family improve their situation and build a home in Israel.
