Azvolous, Moshe (“mouse”)
Son of Pinchas and Pnina. He was born in 1929 in Tiberias and was a modest boy who did not stand out, and after completing his elementary school, he took a construction course at the Solel Boneh and worked in construction for a short period of time, Where he joined training and underwent military training in the Palmach. When he was called by his father to help support the family, he returned, despite his will and displeasure, and continued to work in construction. He also joined a group of scouts who were on the cruise, because the sea was close to his Lev. With the declaration of the state, he was called upon to lend a hand in preserving the Jewish community in Tiberias and its institutions. During the War of Independence he engaged in all the battles in the Negev. At the end of the war, he returned to work with his father on fishing at the Sea of Galilee. He was called to reserve duty and on the 12th of Nissan 5714 (12.4.1951), he fell in the line of duty and was laid to rest in the civil cemetery in Tiberias.
