Ben Jacqueline and Meir. Zvi (Zvika) was born in the eastern neighborhood of Akko on August 10, 1958. Was the third child in the family with two sisters and two brothers. At the age of nine Zvika was orphaned from his father, and his mother raised the five children of the family while she worked as a farm manager in Mizra and her work as a seamstress. Zvika attended the “Second Aliyah” elementary school in Acre and continued his high school studies at a boarding school in Nitzanim. A bar mitzvah was celebrated with the family at the Kotel in Jerusalem. His friends called him Kiku, and he was loved by everyone. In 1976, Zvika joined the IDF, the Artillery Corps, and served as a bosom driver, and one day Zvika came with a wounded soldier to the Emek Hospital where he met Dalia Dalal, who after six months became his wife. In 1978, her eldest daughter Hani was born. After his discharge from the IDF, Zvika began to study shipping at Tzim, since he was very fond of the sea, and when he completed his training, Zvika left the sea in favor of the family and began working as a maintenance manager at the Polaris plant in Beit She’an and then worked for a tire factory in 1984. In 1988 he was born to the Israel Police – Afula, was trained at the police academy and at the police school in Shfaram. Zvika was assigned to the unit and was one of its founders and founders.Zvika received the rank of Second Sergeant and outstanding unitary officer from the unit commander Dan Shalom, then went on to study sergeants and in 1991 completed a command course in the Agam. In 1995 Zvika received the position of managing an office in the unit and was responsible for the weapons, the vehicles, the work arrangements and the various operations. In addition to his position as head of the Israel Defense Forces, he trained police officers from other units throughout the country at the police academy in Shfaram and in the Netanya military base. In May 2001, Zvika received a certificate of appreciation from the national special officer, Gil Mansur, for his professional performance and his contribution to the vehicle project. In 2002, Operation Defensive Shield killed his friend, officer Kobi Azulai, and it was clear to him that Zvika would be among the workers to perpetuate his memory. Together with the members of the unit they set up a synagogue and surrounded by a garden. The Ohel Ya’akov synagogue was inaugurated on November 3, 2005, and Zvika was satisfied with the success of the commemoration. Advanced sergeant Zvika fell on February 1, 2006.
