Azoulay, David

Son of Yehya and Hannah. The family of sages and Kabbalists. He was born in Safed, Morocco, and completed his studies at the local elementary school where he worked as a shoemaker and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He was a member of Hapo’el Hamizrachi and was drafted into the IDF in May 1952. On May 5, 1954, he died in his illness and was laid to rest in the civil cemetery in Ramle, where he lived with his parents in one of the camp huts
