Azaria, Eliyahu

Son of Zahara and Yaakov, was born in 1945 in Tunis and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1957. The family settled in Yavne. In Tunis, Eliyahu studied for two years and in Yavneh finished elementary school. He then worked as an independent plumber in contracting jobs and participated in leaving infrastructure for new communities. In the IDF he was sent to a course of the Haganah unit, while he was in his military service, his daughter Hadassah was born. He fell during his service on the 3rd of Elul 5743 (3.9.1983). He was 38 years old. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Yavneh. He left a wife and daughter, parents and nine brothers and sisters
