Son of Lilly and Chaim. He was born on the 17th of Cheshvan 5728 (17.11.1967) in Kiryat Bialik. He began his elementary studies at the Weizmann School in Kiryat Motzkin and completed his studies at the Habonim School in Kiryat Bialik. Afterward, he studied at the “Ort Bialik North” junior high school. He completed his high school studies at the Ort Bialik South High School. Ronen was drafted into the IDF in early February 1986 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, and after returning to his unit as tank commander, he returned to his unit as a tank commander.
