Avrahami, Yehuda (Danny)
Son of Jacob and Sultana. He was born on 28.2.1957 in Hatzor Haglilit. He studied at the Honi HaMaagel religious public school. When he was 12 years old, the family moved to Tel Aviv, and Yehuda continued his studies at the “Torah and Crafts” school. Yehuda excelled in the carpentry profession he attended in the school for apprenticeship, and at the same time worked in carpentry. He successfully completed three years of study, passed the professional examinations with honors and was awarded a work permit from the Ministry of Labor. Yehuda loved sports and excelled in basketball and soccer. He watched football games and traveled far away to watch his team play. Yehuda was drafted into the IDF in September 1974 and assigned to serve in the Artillery Corps, and after completing basic training, he was sent to an artillery battalion in Sinai as a half-track driver and heavy vehicle. A year later, he was transferred to the navy and stationed at a naval base in the Tel Aviv area. On the 27th of Elul 5737 (27.8.1977) Yehuda fell while serving. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.
