Avraham, Ovad

Ben Dalia and Eliyahu. He was born on May 21, 1974 in Kearon. Oved was born prematurely, during the eighth month, and stayed in the incubator for about two months. From an early age you could see that he was a sociable type, who liked to play with his friends. A child full of joy, who loved to sing and dance. He was independent, did not need help, wanted to do everything himself. He did his elementary studies at the Rimonim School in Kiryat Ono. When he was thirteen years old, the family moved to Tel Aviv, but despite the distance, Oved insisted on continuing his studies with his friends in Kearon, and so he went every morning to Ben Zvi High School in Kearon. He was a good disciplined student, serious and orderly, and loved to learn. Oded, and his friends, Oded, was an avid activist in the Scout movement, first as a trainee and then as a counselor, and volunteered for the Civil Guard. Oved was an aesthetic guy, very fond of order and cleanliness, and he kept his car and nurtured it. He danced in a dance troupe and participated in the band’s performances abroad, doing sports, practicing judo, participating in a marathon and working on bodybuilding and physical fitness until his induction into the IDF. After his military service he planned to study law. Oved prepared himself for military service as a combat soldier. Although he was a member of a bereaved family, his parents allowed him to enlist in the IDF as a combat soldier, and after the death of his older brother Yechezkel became religious, and made great efforts to immigrate to his grave and lay wreaths. (26 April 1993), an employee fell while serving and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents, two sisters – Naomi and Rachel, and a brother Shlomo. His parents donated equipment to the local synagogue.
