Avraham, Nachum (“Natzi”)


Son of Yona Hacohen and Dalia. He was born in 1943 in the city of Mosul, Iraq, and immigrated to Israel in 1950. After completing his studies at the Ohel Meir religious school in Afula, he moved to the Yehuda Mermelstein High School where he studied and studied In which he was only two years old – until the end of 10th grade – because he felt the parents’ distressed state, and then he stopped studying and became a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement. From an early age he loved nature and showed great interest in agriculture. Was a loyal and dedicated friend. Prior to joining the IDF, he was recruited in November 1960. He fell on the 17th of Shevat 5772 (17.1.1962) while fulfilling his duties and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Afula.
