Avraham, Moshe


Son of Ovadia and Shoshana. He was born on February 22, 1951, in Moshav Amka in the Western Galilee. After the family was born, the family moved to Rishon Letzion. Moshe had an outstanding perception. At the age of three, the family began to teach him the alphabet, and at the age of five he used to quote verses from the Bible and know the reasons for the Bible, and the parents gave him, like their other children, a special Torah education in Rishon LeZion. After graduating from elementary school, his parents sent him to Yeshiva in Tel Aviv, where he studied Bible, Talmud and other Jewish studies for two years. When he was forced to leave the yeshiva, which was closed, he was sent to the vocational school “Amal” in Rehovot – which combines theoretical studies with study of a profession, to study carpentry. In his approach to teaching the profession, from a practical and theoretical point of view, Moshe excelled very well and soon acquired the technical knowledge he needed. He was humble and knew how to respect others. Thus he acquired many friends and was loved by all his acquaintances. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1969 and assigned to the Armored Corps, and Moshe was enthusiastic about this event in his life, and his family education and spirit of Jewish life and tradition deeply influenced his soul and taught him to love his people and his country. (26.7.1969), was killed when the enemy shelled the Suez Canal and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon LeZion, after which a Torah scroll was placed in the Tiferet Israel Synagogue in Rishon Letzion, in the Yeshurun ​​elementary school “In which he bought his first studies, a plaque was put up to remember him.
