Avni, Amos

Son of Avraham and Rachel. Born in Tel Aviv on October 7, 1940. After graduating from the Joseph Galili School of Education, he studied at the “Shevach” vocational school and took the matriculation exams. In February 1959 he joined the Air Force and later joined the permanent army. He fell in the line of duty on 25 January 1962 and was brought to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, after which he was promoted to lieutenant.
