Avital, Esther (Etty)

Daughter of Solika and Joseph. Esther (Eti) was born in Morocco on the 27th of Av 5761 (August 27, 1951) and immigrated to Israel in 1955. She attended elementary school and high school in her hometown of Beit Shean. Esther married in 1972 and in 1974 moved to live in the Jordan Valley. Lives in Moshav Argaman with husband Shaul and with the children Ofir, Arik, Gad, Ohad and Edva. She was a Yaffa wife, quiet and diligent, who did everything for the house and the children. Esther joined the police in 1976 and served at the border crossing at Adam Bridge. On the 11th of Kislev 5748 (11.6.1988), advanced sergeant Esther died of cancer. Esther was thirty-seven years old. She was laid to rest in the Beit Shean cemetery. Survived a husband and five children.
