Avishay Biton

Son of Zipporah and Amram. Born on 3.3.1980 in the spring to a family of seven children – He was the fifth child, a younger brother to Meir, Shimon, Simona, Shlomo and big brother to Mazal and Yaakov. On July 29, 1998, he joined the IDF and served in the military rabbinate.

Avishay married Idit Bee. The couple established their home in Moshav Avivim and had four children: Harel, Tahel, Daniel and Wayne David.

Sergeant Avishai Biton fell while performing his duties on 18.8.2019. He was 39 years old and was laid to rest in Miron Civil Cemetery. He is survived by wife, four children and six brothers and sisters.

After his fall, he was promoted to the rank of senior sergeant.
