Born in 1919 in Baghdad, Iraq, to ​​a religiously observant family. When Shlomo was 8 years old, he immigrated to Israel with his family and went to study in a religious school in Jerusalem, but after a while he was forced to stop his studies and go to work. During World War II and the beginning of the mobilization of young people from the Yishuv to the British army, Shlomo was among the first recruits to join the Royal Corps of Engineers. He was very popular with his friends, and excelled in mechanics And at the age of 22 he married and raised a family: “As a friend of his family, he suffered greatly from longing for his family and his little girl,” and sent him all his salary to Syria. He contracted fever and four weeks later, he died on August 13, 1943. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Sidon. He left a wife and a daughter. .
